PCMRC is putting together a group purchase of transponders. Not sure why they're offering kart transponders, but be warned; if you try to use one of those new kart transponders in a bike race, the newer software will reject your lap times. The only solution will be to buy a car/bike transponder. This wasn't the case with the older transponders, but there were still issues with weak signal strength since kart transponders are only meant to be 6 inches off the ground and car/bike transponders can be 4 feet off the ground. Don't make the mistake of cheaping out and screwing yourself in the long run.
