How to understand race results

So I looked at the race results for novice, and I haven't a clue what I'm looking at?

Is a 5 in one race good/bad?

 

You got 5th in your first race (RD 1) & 6th in your second race (RD2).

 

Thanks Ken, so I'm guessing that the riders that did not have a transponder on their bikes, aren't being recorded as actually racing? Meaning that there must have not been manual scorer's for round one?
Cause from the video I took from both races, I finished more like 10th and 8th.
That's why I didn't understand what I was looking at.

its easier to understand. It has all the riders that registered. Any DNS are either people that didnt race or their transponders were not working.

 

Thanks and it even shows my pittiful lap time too!
I think I even got passed by a rider on a moped.
Next time I trading transponders with the guy on the moped...lol

 

by next race u will likely be a second or two faster

I might have the hole shot figured out, now just to stay competive for more than 5 seconds...lol
