Just a final reminder to everyone, even though it's far too late now, that you *had* until 1/2 hour after the last race to check your results as they were posted on the tech shack wall to protest any finishing orders. I've asked our Ref to let me know if there were any protests, and if he did not get any, then I'm going to take the electronic results as they were posted as gospel and do up the final points for the year. Unless there is human error in the results, they will be considered official as soon as they are posted.
Results are now posted, but as always, there are a few changes to be made due to outstanding protests. I'll remind all riders once again, you *must* check the electronic results BEFORE you leave for the day to ensure that changes are recorded on the results. Not having official results makes delays in the process for contingency, trophy processing, etc. Not having enough time to accomplish these things, means that they may not be ready for the banquet, etc. Next year, we will be sticking to the rulebook and any late protests will be regarded as a missed opportunity to change the results. It's a hard line to take, but I should not be asking too much for the racers to check the results before they leave. Technically, they should be around for teardown anyways...
