I couldn't make the meeting last night as I'm home with pneumonia.

    Do we have a schedule?

Will the Bonus round count for championship points? PS, I love this schedule...get most of the racing at Mission done in 2 months and no shitty Septmeber days...great to catch a break like that. Hopefully eveyone will save all the cash they are going to need to fork over that short 2 month period to get through 7 rounds...sell your kids into slavery if you have to!

    cheers

Phenomenal dates, IMHO. I don't know how or who, but this is just mind boggling.

Did we sacrifice a virgin or something for the stars to align like this? You're still a virgin, right Ted?

Endurance? I suppose the powers-that-be need to mull that one over but look at it this way; each (potential) team needs to pony up a serious chunk of change as a deposit to show just how serious they really are. The costs for a race day stay the same no matter what, so they need some assurance there will be enough teams to pay that day's expenses.

Tim, an 8 hour endurance would require a 9:00 AM sharp start. The last endurance race finally got under way close to 10:00 or 10:30 AM. Then about 45 minutes in, dBcom hiccupped and I needed Nancy to help bail us out of a pickle. (Thanks again Nancy)

I think I figured out the cause of the hiccup (it's a limitation of the software) but that's all mere conjecture right now.

Let's get the WCC figured out first, K?

Don't forget to buy your license at the show this week, boys and girls.

So no practice dates unless WCSS gets a track day before the May 6th date?

Angus, the first date will be a practice on the 5th. That will be run by WCSS. There has never been more than 1 practice day the day before a race season starts that I can remember since 2003.

Just checking. I know that the first day last year was a practice but since there wasn't a schedule at the meeting it wasn't talked about.

    Early Season for sure,

June 16 -17 will be a conflict with Edmonton,

August 20 is the Monday following the Edmonton Double Header,

Otherwise not too bad at all,

Were there no dates after July 1 besides the Monday in August, No September openings?

Enjoy the ride, and best regards all,

    See you at the show,
    Blair

No practice day before the season starts is a recipe for disaster, and having WCS school do it simply costs the racers more. The schedule sucks and even the odd few like it, I bet many will find it simply too much too soon and too much money will be flowing with no breaks. I know, mr negative, lol and yes, I know its not the clubs fault, we are given what we are given.

Simon, WCSS rates for the practice day are cheaper than what the WMRC would have to charge. You are aware that the WMRC has lost money on every practice day since 2006 right?
