The WMRC New Racer School is a three day course designed to teach the fundamentals of safe, competitive road racing and will prepare you to safely start riding the track immediately.

Our course is not just for those who want to start racing; it’s also a great introduction to track riding that is guaranteed to hook you in your first few laps!

(Riders who complete the WMRC New Racer School and who are racing with the club in the same year will be able to register for a WMRC race license free of charge!) 

  • The New Racer School consists of a classroom session, an afternoon practice session and a full day of instruction at Mission Raceways.
  • During the classroom session you will be learning bike & rider preparation, race riding techniques, race day procedures, etiquette, flags and safety.
  • In the skill development session you will apply these advanced riding techniques in a safe, non-intimidating environment, allowing you to focus on learning the techniques.
  • At Mission Raceways you will spend a full day working both on and off the track with an instructor and receiving valuable feedback to help improve your riding and prepare you to start racing.

This course is open to everyone -not just those who are looking to race.

There are some basic gear and motorcycle requirements both which will require a quick technical inspection please review them and our refund policies before purchasing.
