Why attend our instruction?
Here at the Westwood Motorcycle Racing club we love motorcycles, by extension we love racing motorcycles and we want you to love it too! The WMRC is a not for profit society, all money earned is used to put on more events.
Regardless if you plan to race or just do track days, our goal is that by attending our training you will come away with new knowledge and increased confidence; building new riding skills and giving you greater control of your motorcycle. Some of the key areas you will be working on will be body positioning, line selection and control inputs all the while learning at your own pace in a non-threatening environment and we promise you’ll have fun doing it!
Been wondering what that waved yellow and red striped flag means?
The New Racer School is required if you wish to race but you don’t have to intend to race to take it. If you are interested in doing track days but wondering where to start… this is it! Consider this introduction to track days 101.
