New Business: Our 2019 Awards Banquet dinner will be on October 26th, and held at Jimy Mac’s again. Tickets are $35 and are now available for sale through MSR. This event always sells out quickly so please get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment! Now is also the time to forward your photos to any one of the executive members to add to the year-end presentation! Rob Schoeymeyer reminded everyone that now is the time to start formulating your ideas for changes to the 2020 version of the rule book. We will make an announcement shortly to open up the forums for suggestions, but please note that comments on the Facebook page or proposals by email will not be given consideration. All suggested amendments to the rule book must be submitted on our website forums. Charlotte Graham made a suggestion that racers and track day riders find a way to have their phones and/or identification with a “pit buddy” while they are on the track. While your medical information is on your helmet med tag, it would save some time and effort to have those items handy should you require an ambulance transfer. Brian Jensen noted on that matter, that you will be transported and treated without that information; however it would make life easier for the people trying to get those items to you before you leave the premises. We would like to thank our fellow EMRA racers for attending this season, and especially for participating in our endurance race! We really enjoyed your company and your competition and look forward to seeing you again next year! Jason Hanson took a moment to thank everyone, our friends, spouses, volunteers, VISA and MC for their support this year. These race seasons are as much work, as they are fun, and it isn’t possible without the support of our loved ones and credit cards. Everyone is politely reminded to be sure to settle their tab before leaving the meeting place! We are fortunate to have access to a free meeting room with food and beverages provided to us, and we do not want to jeopardize our welcome! Please note there will be no General Meeting in October due to the Thanksgiving weekend and our next meeting will also be the Annual General Meeting, on November 11, 2019 REMINDER!! Our hay de-baling party will be on September 22, at noon sharp, near the big bin in the parking area beside the club house and behind the turn 9 stands. We look forward to seeing a large turnout and will reward you with donuts and coffee. Congratulations to our 2019 Club Champion and #1 Plate holder, Spero Benias!! Well done Spero! The meeting was adjourned at 7:43, with many motions to accept, it was a cacophony of motions, none of which were written down and all of which have now been forgotten. Apologies. Minutes submitted by Pam Black.
