Notice of May Event Cancellation due to COVID-19

We’ve been monitoring closely the COVID-19 situation in British Columbia, one which is continually evolving.

Whereas

a. The government of British Columbia’s declaration of a provincial state of emergency on March 17, 2020

b. The Provincial Health Office order prohibiting all gatherings in excess of 50 people on March 16, 2020

c. We’ve received notification that all events in May held at Mission Raceway Park have been cancelled

In order to minimize the net harm to our members, volunteers, health care providers and the public at large we have no choice but to announce the cancellation of our events in May.

This notice of cancellation pertains to:
1. May 15th – Practice
2. May 16th – Round 1
3. May 17th – Round 2
4. May 18th – Round 3

We will continue to assess and make further adjustments to the 2020 season as required to keep everyone safe and healthy.
