Please post all 2023 rulebook proposals here for discussions and in order to be considered by the rules book committee.
I would like to see mwsbk rules be amended to 2004 and older 600cc equivalent. The 600’s made the rest of the field irrelevant this year. It may be a better idea to add a 600sbk class that could be run at the same time as open Supersport.
It would be nice to have an additional 600 class such as 600 SBK. Our club only has one competitive 600 class (600 supersport), if you have a modern age 600. The 1000s get 3-4 competitive classes. Many other clubs have an abundance of 600cc riders and having an extra class would increase the likelihood of them coming to race. Nobody will come from the states or Alberta to run one competitive class.
1.It's time to rename Formula Ultra to SBK or something more appealing. 2. The well known fast rider rule needs to be removed. If you are fast, you will find the way to be up-front. This way you won't step on toes of riders that are running in points. 3. Because of WCC we have to make WMRC rules closer to EMRA so WMRC racers are on same paying field, especially in 600SS class.
If the MWSB rules stay at "450cc - 636cc four (4) cylinder machines and 500 - 675cc three (3) cylinder machines 15 years or older (engine modifications limited to Supersport rules - see Chapter 8)." Allow 15 year old Ducati 848 with supersport spec engine rules to compete in the class.
