Wondering what rubber others are using when racing an rc390 at Mission. Was planning on using DOT's, at least initially...
Pirelli makes the Supercorsa SC in the sizes and compounds you need. Those are good and you can source them locally. They don't make a slick for those bikes, the moto3 tire is going to be a little bit too skinny in my opinion, although people run them. I tried Bridgestone moto3 slicks on an R3 and it did work well. Regardless, there is no performance or functional difference between the Supercorsa SC (not to be confused with the SP street tire) and the Superbike slicks so talk to your local vendor (Mspeed) and get the correctly sized tires for your bike.
As an alternative, Moto America runs dunlop alpha 13. Alpha 13 sp’s are available at a very low price. I would not hesitate running dunlops
Pirelli is available through mspeedPerformance 604-294-3354 Dunlop is available through Motomotion Canada 236-422-0888 Both vendors can be found at our events and provide sales and mounting.
