Novices and High Visibility Vests

    Hi There,

    I'm going to be racing as a novice on an SV650. As I understand it, I'll be running middle weight twins and lightweight superbike, or at least, I won't be in the novice races.

    Do I need a high vis vest?

    I'm going to be a rolling chicane anyway, do I have to dress like a traffic cone? :laugh:

    Nick, I'm new as well and I figure if everyone else just stays outta my way then it's a guaranteed podium lol! :)

    True enough. Another concern is the combining of certain classes. BOTT and LWTSS is going to have some massive closing speed differences. Potentially, a Ducati 1198 vs Ninja 250 is quite a speed difference.

    Dean, I believe that is a typo. (or a missuse of the term BOTT). If I read the rulebook correctly the big twins are now with 600's but limited in HP to 125. What is combined with LWTSS is the middleweight twins. SV's and eligible FClassic bikes...
