So happy for Steve after his many years and tireless dedication to getting better and faster each time he goes on the track. :#1::wmrc: Super stoked for all the others with great results, too. Great to see championships and top-3 rankings for Bez, Dave, Richard, both Hansons, Lu, and each and ever one of the others. You guys should be proud of yourselves.:#1::#2::#3:
Congratulations to everyone who got on a bike and rolled up to the starting grid! A huge thank you to all of the corner workers, without you none of our bikes see a green flag. I would also like to say thank you to the people who made us novices feel welcome. Thanks for a fun time this summer, and I look forward to racing with you again next year!
Upon further review of the Open Supersport race, and consulting our rule book, we have issued points for the race which was cancelled after 4 laps. We went back to the 3rd lap, since the race was no re-run. It changes things a bit, but it is fully 100% according to the rule book. I apologize for any confusion my earlier posts may have caused.
I have, but with only 5 starters (int) and 4 starters (exp), contingency will most likely not be paid. At any rate, they have the full results from Round 7 too.
Here's hoping they do...it is really great that a tire company still provides some financial assistence to club racing. I am very impressed by the loyalty Michelin demonstrates to us guys for buying their tires. BTW the new 200 rear DOT held up amazing and provided me with my fastest lap ever (in traffic) around Mission... a 114.8. And the tires are providing a consistent pridictable grip level for a guy like me to grow as a rider quickly. I have no doublt I can run 13's/14's consistently early next year, if we get some dry weather. Thanks Dean and Ryan for doing a great job for Michelin and us Michelin riders at Mission
So was I, Lu, but as you know it's been a rather complicated year for for me and racing had to take a back seat. I still have the bike and gear, though, and hopefully will be able to get back into it next season. I've really missed being at the races with all you guys.
