Race Day Schedule

    Hey Just wondering if there is a set race day schedule for this year with the 250 class and everything? the one posted on the wmrc is from 2009 and i know that was different from last year as well.

    I am also needing a raceday schedule. I know a lot of people wanting to come but need to know when racing starts and when my class will be up.

    Race Days

    - Gates open @ 8:00 am on RACE DAYS
    - ADMISSION IS $10.00 (Children under 12 are admitted free)

    - Main races start at 10:30 am and run until 4:45 pm (we break for lunch)

    Practice Days

    - Gates open @ 8:00 am on PRACTICE DAYS
    - ADMISSION IS FREE FOR EVERYONE
    - Practice Days - sessions start @ 9:30 am and run until 4:30 pm

    NO DOGS ALLOWED AT MISSION RACEWAY PARK DURING ANY WMRC MOTORCYCLE EVENT!!!

    Class Descriptions

    SUPERBIKE: Our premier class open to all displacement motorcycles

    OPEN SUPERSPORT: Unlimited displacement with a maximum 185hp

    600 SUPERSPORT: 600cc 4 cylinder and 750cc twin cylinder motorcycles

    HEAVYWEIGHT TWINS: Unlimited displacement twin cylinder motorcycles

    MIDDLEWEIGHT TWINS: Up to 650CC displacement twin cylinder motorcycles

    MIDDLEWEIGHT SUPERBIKE: 250GP, middle weight twins, singles and 15 year old 600's

    FORMULA CLASSIC: Various Bikes from Vintage to current in different classes/brackets. This is a catch-all class!

    VINTAGE: For the classic racing motorcycles with a max model year of 1972

    FORMULA 118: Riders cannot exceed 1:18 laptimes and timers are not allowed!

    250 PRODUCTION: 250 Single or Twin Cylinder 4 stroke stock sportbikes!

    NOVICE: For the new racer to gain track experience under racing conditions




    I can't find a breakdown on when each race is scheduled the old one up is 2009 and located here

    TYPICAL RACEDAY SCHEDULE 2011

    7:00am Gates Open
    7:05am Registration and Tech Opens
    8:15am Registration Closes
    8:30am Riders Meeting (Mandatory for all riders)

    Practice Schedule
    9:15am Practice group #1 - Slow-Medium (above 1:15 lap times) 15 mins
    9:30 Practice group #2 - Fast (below 1:15 lap times) 15 mins
    9:45 Practice group #3 - Novice 15 mins
    10:00 Practice group #1 - Slow-Medium (above 1:15 lap times) 15 mins
    10:15 Practice group #2 - Fast (below 1:15 lap times) 15 mins

    10:15 Break / Bike Pick Up (if necessary) 10 mins

    Main Races

    10:45 BOTT / Middleweight Twins 10 laps

    11:10 Novice 7 laps

    11:30 Superbike - Race 1 12 laps

    Trophy Presetation / Bike Pick Up

    12:00 Lunch / Taste of Racing

    1:00 250 Production Class 10 laps

    1:25 Int. 600 Supersport 10 laps

    1:50 Exp. 600 Supersport 10 laps

    2:15 Trphy Presentation / Bike Pick Up

    2:25 Middleweight Superbike 10 laps

    2:50 Int. Open Supersport 10 laps

    3:15 Exp. Open Supersport 10 laps

    3:40 Trophy Presentation / Bike Pick Up

    3:50 Novice 2 7 laps

    4:10 Formula 1:18 / Formula Classic 10 laps

    4:35 Superbike - Race 2 12 laps

    5:00 Trophy Presentation / Track Tear Down (mandatory for all riders)

    I like that schedule. Sorry I had to miss the setup, you know I'll be there for others. Looking forward to this weekend BIGTIME.
