The recent newsletter (a great idea :thumbup got me remembering the good times I've had at Mission, and I just want to wish my friends and fellow competitors all the best and no (upside)downtime for the 2011 season. I also want to wish the hard-working exec and all the volunteers smooth sailing and sunshine :sun: I've recovered from my crash at the end of last year, but I haven't yet had the time or funds to fix my bike. This is partly because I'm currently back in college in a carpentry apprenticeship program (a nice change from trucking). I likely won't be able to get back on the track until near the end of the season. I was really looking forward to honing my racecraft and chasing after the Experts after being promoted (not shown on the home page), but hopefully I'll at least be able to get down once or twice to hang out and help out until I can race again. 'Til then, cheers
We will anxiously await your return Norm! Congrats on the career change too. Maybe you can design some nice wooden side panels for the bike and come back on the cheap!
Haha... yeah, maybe a hardwood piston, too, lol. Actually, in my dreams I fix up and race that '08 CBR1000RR that Adam listed a while back
Sorry to hear you won't be back until later in the season, Norm, but best of luck in your schooling and look forward to seeing you at Mission as soon as you can make it.
Sorry to hear Norm. You were always a good guy to race against..Best of luck and hope we see you out again soon.
hey Norm, dang man. Loved having you out there and will miss you yet again... see you when your ready to race again!! if you two come down for a weekend there is room at the Inn
I'm relieved to learn you've recovered physically. I'm going to miss seeing you so I hope you can get the bike fixed and find some time later in the season to come down and visit with everyone.
Dave, are you going to be racing this year? If so, I'll really have to get back so I can try and run you off the track instead of poor Jaybo
