I know exhaust systems cannot be changed. I am guessing this is for noise levels.

I want to install my full Akrapovic system so I can run it at other tracks where it is not a problem. I want to put a slip joint joint on my stock can so that I can just swap it onto the Akrapovic system to race at mission.

    So wadaya say:confused:

Not a problem as long as you have a stock muffler installed AND meet the sound requirements while on track. Many of us have a similar set-up. I also have the Akro full system on my 750 with a stock pipe, so far no issues anywhere.

Exactly, running a nice Leo Vince Ti header setup with a stock can modified to slide on in sec's. You can run ANY stock can, so this lets you find one that flows. Some are running 1000cc cans. The drawbacks are its too quiet, :(

Okay thanks. You think it will effect my tuning all that much going between cans?

A little bit maybe, but not enough to worry about.
