here they are: http://www.wmrc.ca/race-results.html Before you start to get mad wondering why you did not receive points for a race, the rulebook states that there MUST be 5 starters to get points awarded for a race. As a result, not many points were awarded this past weekend.
I was told it had been changed to 4 which is why Marbod and Gio put their bikes on the line. It's kinda sad to see guys like Ov or James come out to race, they've committed to being there, paid but it makes no sense for then to turn a wheel because other riders don't have the balls to ride. Heck, we had riders, Marbod, #313 and even you Dean go out on SLICKS! This is racing and it does go rain or shine. I knew at 3 riders I wouldn't get points and seriously thought let's just go ride around, but then was told 4 riders as it has just been changed....it's a race push it for points. If guys take the time to come out from Okanogan Falls, the Island or Alberta to race we should be there to race with them. My two cents, I'm done on this topic now.
Kinda looks like Bez needs a bit of compitition out there. And who the hell is this Tyler Regan guy. Hes fast.
If there are any results you feel should be changed, please contact your rider reps. We are already aware that Rusty is credited with finishing the race for OSS in round 2 and are working on a resolution. Bernie, our rule book states 5, so maybe we can get an amendment made at the next meeting, but the people will have to vote on it, after it is tabled.
I was credited for the race because I was turned around at pre-grid, Rick told me that I would be awarded last place points. I do have a question about sunday's 600ss race.

I'm totally with Bernie on the points issue. Speaking for myself - and I'm sure for the others as well - I raced as hard with only four of us out there as if there'd been more. We made the commitment to RACE and we went out there in lousy conditions and RACED :devil: I don't think it's fair if some good riders with hot bikes show up for the occasional race and take one of the top three spots each time and end up with the top points. For one, the points system is over-weighted at the top; and two, the club needs to provide incentive for racers to get out by rewarding those who make the effort! I also feel guilty now for getting Bernie and any other F40 guy out needlessly because it was I who spread the information that I'd heard that the rule had been amended to four starters Anyway, I'm ranting because I just got back from a hard week on the road only to read about this issue - Dean, I'm not throwing this at you Heck, it was still a great weekend!
Hey, I just noticed... why weren't points awarded for at least the Round 2 F40 race?? There were five starters
Go figure, I race 4 races, get two second places and a third and the race that gets scored is the one my battery terminal decides to come off in and I DNF. Just tops off the 'Fanstastic' month i've had. Bring it on boys.
