All I can say is WOW! Thanks to Russell for running over with his extinguisher as mine fizzled out, and then Dave for flying out there with more in the crash truck. The thing just would not go out. One thing about yelling 'fire' or 'bbq', you get a lot of people coming out Thanks to everyone for helping with cleanup as well:bow: I was just hoping that it didn't blow up in my face while I was trying to put the thing out/contain the area...
Yes I uh did not expect to ride through a line of fire today...atleast the rider got away pretty much fine from what I could tell
That was nuts. Those Alberta guys sure know how to have BBQ. I'm glad no one got hurt and a quick response from the corner workers including all the racers who could grab a fire extinguisher. I was biking to help and had Dean and Don run towards me with fire extinguishers.
