Just looking at other schedules... Since I no longer have a street bike, I'm having a hard time accepting the entire month of June without riding. The WMMRA rounds in June look like they may work out well for my schedule. I'm at work right now and haven't got time to read through their website, anyone what to give me a quick run down. I've done track days there, but never raced. What do I need to know? Anyone want to come with me?
Well then my friend I guess it's time you buy a SUPERMOTO. Whe already had a practice AND a race. I ride almost every week. Come on......you know you wanna.
AAAhhhh, so both of you are trash talking now? I thought there was no bench racing until the week before.
:lolup:You guys are all pricks....... there was two of us out there but the other 'old' guy had a heart attack.
One thing you need to know is you either want to start at the front of the pack or at the back. nowhere near the middle. It can get a bit crazy in the middle going into turn one and two on the starts.
Oh yah! Another thing you need to know about the starts is they have this goofy light system. We started at the back, tried to figure what the heck was going on with the lights but they all brake so early there (Compared to Mission where we grenade the brakes) and all the WMRCers were right back in play. SO....Pay SPECIAL attention to the start prceedure.
Edmonton is July 24/25. Edmonton weekends are practice on Saturday and Race on Sunday with the July 24/25 being their only double header, so WCC is on that weekend. They have a Friday practice on the 23rd that weekend.
The light system is pretty simple. You twist the grip when the light goes out Just remember to stay WFO through turn 1 in 6th gear or you might get ass packed when youre getting lapped :jerkoff: I joke...sorta. But the track is a lot nicer now that they repaved T1 and T2 woot woot!
