Details are still being worked out but you can expect some guest instruction from Mr. Crevier. Steve's knowledge of riding, racing, bike set up and suspension is unsurpassed in Canada and amongst the top in all of North America. Come learn from a proven Champion with over 25 years of Professional Roadracing under his hat. Dates: Friday, April 30th Friday, May 21st Wednesday, June 30th Friday, August 13th Friday September 24th Includes Street and Racer Clinics Cost: Street Riders - $190 + GST, Licensed Racers - $175 + GST Save $25 per event by registering and paying 1 week in advance 5 Pack of Track: Street Riders - $145/day, total $725 + GST Licensed Racers - $130/day, total $650 + GST These days are open to both street riders and racers. They are fun and controlled and include totally non competitive groups where people can ride at whatever pace they feel comfortable at. All types of motorcycles including Motards are welcome to join the fun. All bikes must be in a good state of repair with decent tires. We are saddled with a noise issue so we require all bikes to either have a stock exhaust system, or, we may need to install a noise damping plug (cost is $25) in any loud aftermarket exhaust systems. In most cases there is no problem with aftermarket exhausts and only the loudest need to be quieted down. Minimum gear requirements are leathers or heavier type textiles, a newer full face helmet, a hard shell back protector and decent motorcycle gloves and boots. Additional Information: For Street Riders: The street group will be led by experienced instructors for their first two track sessions. This will be helpful for knowledge of the best lines through corners and safe passing areas. Track instructors will circulate with the street group throughout the day offering assistance and instruction where required. Helmet cam analysis is available for a nominal fee. For Racers: Track instructors will circulate with the racer group offering assistance and instruction where required. Helmet cam analysis is available for a nominal fee. Troy, I posted this at Islandriders.ca for any interested racers/track-day riders who might be interested in coming over to the mainland for these.
He's that squid from Maple Ridge who shows up once a season to scam a ride on someone else's race bike... and then wax everbody with it.
:devil:I don't think any of Crevs' instructing will have to do with sending your bike into Tradex signs...........
Wow I can't believe the trash talking already. Lou your the best crasher I know and to walk away with a little bruising as well as the pride.
:devil:Hee hee.....well, Mr. Klassen couldn't have said it any better. Let the Trash talking begin. See the funny thing is....What Lu didn't tell you is minutes before the crash.....if you can call it a 'Crash'. I had ......sort of....told him he was going to crash.....minutes before.....:devil:I'll let him open that can of worms. hee hee
..............Anyways.....back on track with this thread.........For those of you "on the fence' about taking this course.....TAKE IT! You'll go home with a whole new respect for what you and your bike can do. Remember.....Buy a pipe, buy some tires, some bling accessories and it all gets sold with the bike. Invest in yourself with this riding/ racing course and you'll keep that with you through life from bike to bike. Not to mention making a pile of new friends.
I just got of the phone with Yamaha Canada and they have come through with a great program for Yamaha riders. In appreciation of their customers they will be issuing $75 Yamabuck certificates to all Yamaha riders attending track days with West Coast Superbike School. It is a one time Yamabuck certificate for $75 and is redeemable at your local Yamaha dealer for purchase towards anything Yamaha Motor Canada sells including units, parts, accessories and apparel. I am just glad I get one too since I have an R6. Reminder that you have until Sunday night to be registered and paid to save $25 for the Friday, April 30th track day. Track Daze remaining: Friday, April 30th Friday, May 21st Wednesday, June 30th Friday, August 13th Friday, September 24th See you there.
