My parents-in-law in Abbotsford told me they'd read an article in the newspaper about a woman who is a police officer and also races at Mission. I searched for it online and found our own Ms. Joyce -- Well done, Nancy! http://www.bclocalnews.com/fraser_valley/abbynews/news/83473052.html
Congratulations Nancy, you have the look of a Keith Code "Art of Cornering" Graduate about you in your photo. I hope you and the Siren Racing Team are out there on the track again this spring, Enjoy the ride, and best regards, Blair
Nikola, you know if my speed was worth bragging rights I'd be tellin' but it's not, so I'm not tellin'.
"The bike in question is a Suzuki SV 650 motorcycle, about 400 pounds of brutally quick machinery propelled by a four-stroke liquid-cooled eight-valve V-twin engine that can go from zero to 60 mp/h in less than four seconds.".... you're just jealous your bike doesn't put out that kind of power. It's nice to see articals in the local papers.....especially when it's positive stuff for the track. As we get closer to race dates I have a few people in mind for their local area Newspapers and to let people know we are racing. Mel, maybe you can help me with this on the Island with Steve O, Dave Collis and Oli to name a few.
Hey Bernie, I'd be happy to help with this. I'll PM you my e-mail address, if you don't already have it.
