Last Spring Sunbelt Software was gracious enough to donate 3 licenses for their firewall and Vipre antivirus/malware software for the club's 3 laptop computers. I'd like to know if anyone has tried either of their products and whether they actually made the leap to buying it for their own computer(s). After all, if Sunbelt doesn't get any positive results from their donation last year, it's hardly worth their while to continue that support this coming year.
You need another option on the poll for me... - Haven't purchased it yet, but will in the New Year for my new laptop!
I bought a site license of Vipre for my home computers. Great product. I could live without the firewall though as Windows 7 and Vista have great built-in firewalls.
I voted that I bought it, which isn't totally true. I tried the trial version from their website, would seriously consider buying a full version. Just need to find the time to get around to it... I liked that it didn't consume all of the computer's brain to do the anti-virus check every evening, which the previous software did.
John, I didn't even know that they were a sponsor... I will check them out now that I know. Unfortunately none of my Antivirus or Firewall licences expire until the fall next year.
