Transponders

thanks for responding john....it was their last night....try searching on ebay....wasnt sure if we were running the software to make it work....

 

The "MX" transponders are designed for motocross use and as such have a max rated speed of 120km. So they may work as long as you don't plan on exceeding 120.

 

Yup, you need the bike transponder, which is meant for much faster speeds over the line.

 

Not a problem, Lu. I did a search and found boatloads of RC models, which won't do anything for us.

 

huh....a couple of guys from wmrra said they were using....looking at options for members that are not interested in paying 500+ for a new one.1,3,5yr option to lease....

The Sports Car Club of BC has graciously stepped up and will supply approximately 15 transponders for rent at the first race round.

Transponders rent for $35 for 1 day or $60 for 2. Credit card number taken at time of rental in case they are not returned.

You must bring a credit card with you for an imprint to be taken for the deposit.
