i just rebuilt a penske shock and need a nitrogen charge, not many shops do this service and some are so expensive it is beyond belief, anyone got a suggestion, maple ridge kawi charges me 20 last year now they want $44, hmmm thats a serious increase for a 2 minute job. Thanks Ross
If you have the right fittings it may be possible Royal City Fire Supplies could do it. What kind of pressure are we looking at? They charge fire extinguishers with Nitrogen at around 150-200 PSI. I think they use a regular quick connect air fitting with an adapter for the different fire extinguishers.
It is a regular schraider(sp) valve. Holeshot charges $25 so i may just go there. Its the same valve as a tire, 150 psi for the penske 175 psi for the elka shocks. I had a minot seal head leak which I have fixed and changed the fluid, so easy to do its crazy that shops chrge 150 plus parts, 30 min job. Thanks for the info
