Please thank these guys for volunteering to be the rider reps for this year. Nikola (expert) Nick d. (novice) Alex (fc)
I'm confused, based on the rulebook, there are only Experts, Novices and Graduated Novices. Who is FC and why are they being represented? Chapter 3 – Classification of Riders 3.1 There are three classifications of riders in WMRC promoted events; Novice, Graduated Novice and Expert. These classifications are meant to designate the difference between various riders’ abilities, and hence make for fair and exciting competition.
Quoting from section 2.8 of the 2015 rulebook: "There will be 3 rider reps: Novice, Expert and Formula Classic. "
Formula Classic (FC) is comprised of Novice, Graduated Novice and Expert riders, on 1960-1989 model year motorcycles. The FC riders need representation since regular rider reps are normally unfamiliar with these motorcycles, how to answer questions regarding these motorcycles, how to classify these motorcycles and what it means to ride these motorcycles competitively. WMRC, WMRAA, OMRAA and other race organizations recognize this fact and feel this is best achieved by a dedicated position and by a person who is familiar with 1960-1989 model year motorcycles. I hope this clears things up for you. regards alex
