I meant to bring this up at the meeting, but my Monday brain prevailed. Since I don't know who to email it to, it's going here. I noticed that the SCCBC has their events listed in the FOX 99.3 Events calendar. Most radio stations have online calendars like this. Does anyone know how to get an event into these calendars? I'm not sure if it requires $$$ or not. I sent an email to the marketing coordinator at Chorus Entertainment about a week ago but didn't hear anything back. Is there anyone that has time during the day to call and find out?
I was thinking back to the days at Westwood where the radio stations were actually sponsoring events. I wonder what would happen now? I do know that we've pretty much been ignored by the radio stations since we started at Mission.
When we were advertising on Team 1040, they included in their community calendar. I'm sure if you email them they will add it for free.
Colleen Hutton. She is on vacation this week and last. She will be back on Monday I think. Thats who I got in touch with to do the Daytona party adds on there.
Any chance you have an e-mail address for her? I don't find her listed on either the station websites or the Chorus corporate website.
