Racing at the Ridge

Happy Newyear everyone, looking forward to the show and new racing season. Just a note to the executive, I know we don't have much choice in the dates we my have avialable in the next couple of weeks, but Tim and myself and i think others in the club will want to race the first WMRRA event at the Ridge on May 26,27. Randy

 

Randy, you are correct, we have almost 0 input on the available dates at Mission, but keep me in the loop, if that race doesn't interfere with the WMRC races I will join you at the Ridge.

May 2 - 27 Weekend is also the Season opener for EMRA at Stratotech in Edmonton,

Sounds like all the riders from Oregon up and over to Saskatchewan will be racing that weekend,

Let's all hope for great dates and lots of good racing this year,

anyone ever consider the idea of having a wmrc round or two at the Ridge.
I am sure there are openings there. may drive some WMRRA riders to mission also.

 

I have heard others allude to the same idea Adam. I think it would make a great road trip for the club,

That would be AWESOME, but probably only 20% at most of the racers would make it down :S

 

Should be an awesome weekend with 2-Fast on the Friday, races on the Saturday & Sunday, and a 6 hour endurance race on the Monday.
Don't know if I'll be able to afford to go but I might be willing to offer my services to an endurance team that needs another rider.

 

I'm looking to head down that weekend....

 

Yes, if we get screwed again this year with no weekend dates in jun, jul, aug, we should discuss joining WMRRA for a round at the Ridge. The best way to encourage some of them to come to Mission. I think its worth a try! Randy.
