The Ridge Dec.10th 2011

Got a chance to have a few laps at the Ridge on Saturday. It was very cold and a bit wet but the worth it. Didn't have a race bike ready yet so had to settle for a street bike off the shop floor(thank you Carter Motorsports for the bike and Chris @Motovan for the camera)
Lots of elevation and fast front straight. check it out for yourself. switch it to 720p and let it load for a minute, crank up the volume

Wow, looks much better than the videos of the new track in Oregon. Have to give that one a try in the summer.

He means ORP. It's a new track less than 3 years old.

 

Wasn't sure if he meant ORP or somewhere else that I hadn't heard about.

I've ridden 3 w/e's at ORP (Star School in 2010 and 2 Motofit w/e's this year) and I think it is a fantastic track. With 16 turns, lots of elevation change and safe run off almost the entire track it is a hoot both CW and CCW.

Even though it is twice as far as the Ridge I plan on doing a couple of weekends at both TRMP and ORP

 

Looks like fun, going to have to ride that track this year!
