I just wanted to thank all the volunteers who came out this last weekend and endured the scorching heat so that us racers could do what we love to do. With out you guys and gals nothing happens. Thank you very much for all your hard work.:bow::bow:
Well said, and I second that. I tried to thank the cornerworkers every chance I got but 'thank you' is never enough. Speaking of volunteering, I feel badly that I put my name down to help with bales at the end of Sunday but then couldn't go out (my ride back home to the Island was leaving and I had no back-up). I promise I will make it up.
Indeed....it was hot.......but so was the "racing"......and while I can only speak for myself....."thank you" is more than enough!!!
On behalf of Mid Life a HUGE thanks to all the corner workers- you guys and gals rock! As always, there is a standing invite to all you guys drop by our pits after racing for a bevy!
Thanks again for all the help this weekend everybody. It really is greatly appreciated. The BBQ I think was a great success, it was nice having everyone hanging around and bench racing, getting to know each other better.
C'mon Linda, after all we shared that special week end in Edmonton you should know you don't need an invite
It is great to know the efforts of my crew are appreciated. It is truly a pleasure to work with such a dedicated and race-crazed bunch. Sorry I missed the BBQ, but the heat had just got to me and I had to get into air conditioning. I heard it was fun. See you all in Sept.
