Thin walled 19mm socket

Anybody know where I can pick up a thin walled 19mm socket? I need one to put my frame sliders on. Not sure why Vortex made it so you can't fit a regular socket in it...

Checked crappy tire and they didnt have any.

 

Try different ones. My Deep wall sockets have narrower walls and obviously are longer.

Ya i grabbed a deep 19mm 3/8" drive socket...no workie. I'll go to sears soon and see what they have.

 

sounds kinda dirty.

 

Why don't you just grind down the side of the socket and use that. 19 mm is a 3/4" socket same size.

 

If I can't find one, I will be stopping by your shop nikola :bow:

Isn't that what a good mechanic does, takes a perfectly good tool and make it better by modification. LOL

 

close Thad, I would drop by Princess Auto on Springfiled (5 minutes) and grab a crap metric one. Kidding, I'm too impatient, I would have drilled out the slider to fit my socket, done in 2 minutes!
