I know there will be lots of questions, so here's all that I know at this point:

A friend of mine, who is an Area27 member, is considering hosting trackdays and wants me to partner with him. At this point we need to gauge the amount of interest there is in order to proceed.

Last week I went on MotoGP.com and watched the Off Season Show featuring Maverick Vinales riding MX. It wasn't racing, but it was vaguely interesting and playback quality was fine.

Today I watched the video featuring Tito Rabat at Almeria, again, playback was fine, but now the MX video with Maverick is unwatchable. It won't stream at all and there doesn't seem to be a way to let it buffer. The video link in still on the video page at MotoGP.com, but it...

On the 35th anniversary of Canadian Superbike, they are coming back to Edmonton. To Castrol Raceway.

Very exciting to have the series come West. Colin Fraser was out for the first EMRA round at Castrol in July 2014.
He was evaluating the newly built roadrace track for the viability of a National round.

STAR stands for Skills and Techniques for Advanced Riding. It is open to all levels of riders from street riders to trackday riders and racers. The students are split into 2 groups (street group & advanced group) and after the initial classroom session the rotate 20min classroom and 20min track.

Unfortunately we didn't have a STAR School at Thunderhill this year...
