      <content:encoded><![CDATA[If you&#039;ve actually read the rulebook in the past couple years, there&#039;s been a wrinkle added to limit how you can get points towards class (and club) championships. I&#039;ve tried the last couple years to get that rule eliminated but the Rules Committee doesn&#039;t agree, so it&#039;s still there. I&#039;m not aware of any other organization that has invoked that sort of rule.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Even with limited entries, I was really pleased that there wasn&#039;t a single stoppage yesterday. There were 2 people that had low battery warnings on their transponder but everything else was great. It made for a less stressful day from our end.<br />
<br />
Aside from Nick&#039;s broken chain and someone blowing their exhaust apart on the front straight, things held together well. I guess some people need a refresher on what the significance of a meatball flag is but we&#039;ve got all winter to work on that....<br />

Broken USB cables. They won&#039;t work. Plain and simple. I suggested Marbod start stocking a few to sell for a tidy profit. Or you can buy a couple for yourself. Your X2 transponder and RaceKey will thank you for it. I hear Anker is a good brand.<br />

We post here in the forums, on FB and send out emails to everyone that&#039;s registered. People still won&#039;t bother to make sure their transponder is ready for the weekend.]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[You all did a great job preparing everything for last Monday. There was a total of 2 people that had issues with their X2 transponder. Both of them had renewed their subscriptions but hadn&#039;t synced their Race Key with the Mylaps mothership. One was made more difficult when they showed up asking for help with a broken USB cable. It all worked out in the end, though. I think it&#039;s unanimous, X2 transponders are a PITA.<br />

It&#039;s not as though there&#039;s hordes of fans wanting to know who is on the bike at a particular moment and the announcer (what announcer?) likewise. About the only compelling reason to track each rider during their stint is so they can review their lap times in MyLaps.<br />

-What is the stop procedure during fuel or rider swaps into pit lane? Two feet down at marked line, etc.<br />

The rule of thumb is the Rules Committee is convened during the off-season to do their work on the Rule Book for the upcoming season.<br />
