Thanks to the 3 racers that actually submitted their plaque/trophy requests to the club. The cutoff time has now been passed, so those 3 will be able to get their plaques at the banquet. Thanks to all who participated. Again, year end class trophies will be done, or not, by the class sponsors, so those trophies are not part of the request, just your individual results/plaques.
Have the class sponsors been contacted? Whose responsibiltity was it/is it to ensure that they are made aware of this fact. The reason I'm asking - the sponsorship package was really vague on this topic if I recall correctly. cheers alex
There was an announcement at riders meeting, and 2 or 3 club emails that went out with the information. There was also the facebook group and facebook fan pages with the posting as well.
D'oh^2 Didn't recall a cut-off date from the rider's meeting; don't do Facebook; didn't get the emails... ...who can I check with to confirm that my email subscription is working? (Sorry for the hassle)
Heard back from Jayson - apparently the last email was prior to the last round - nothing in the Aug.18th email about trophies and plaques. In conjunction with no thread on the Forum, it might explain the low numbers of people who opted in... Not complaining, just clarifying
Hi guys, all of this info was discussed at our monthly meetings as well. We can try to get more info out to the membership for the 2013 season but ultimately it is up to each of us to ask questions, attend meetings and get involved.
Bez has the trophies under control as usual. But the ones you brought to last years banquet made me want a Formula Classic bike so I could take home some cool hardware!
