    Saturday, June 29th at Mission Raceway.
    The Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club Round #5
    Kids 12 and under are free.
    All us other kids just pay $10 to get in.
    The Track Walk is FREE!
    ... A few racers will do a fly-by!
    The Track Walk starts with the kids from BCCH and Starlight, but ALL KIDS (big and small!) are invited. See the racetrack up close. Learn about strategy, corners, braking, the racing line...and then stick around for a while as they unleash the Superbikes!!

    We will try and have a trinket or 2 for all the kids. And some racers will offer up their bikes for pictures afterwards.

    Try this;
    find it
    add it to your events
    SHARE IT!
    invite friends you think might enjoy this ;-)

    You can't fill the stands doing squat to help the promo of the club.

    Try this;
    add it to any other forums you visit

    Try this;
    send a short email to friends that aren't on facebook
    'come watch me race'
    'bring the kids, there is some lunchtime entertainment'
    'kids 12 and under get in free'
    'it is only 10 bucks'
    'I will have snacks in my pit for you'
    'I will pack a lawn chair, so you can hide from the sun under my tent'
    'I race better when people come to watch'

    Or you can try sitting on your lazy butt like always, and wait for someone on the exec. to pull that rabbit from their ass!

    Thoughts added..
    I've done this for years, it's just lately that I've focused on giving the kids from BCCH a fun day.
    The walk is open to all.
    It's also a good day to drag out your sponsor, potential sponsor, etc.
    And it will get everyone out of your hair for 30-45 minutes so you can work on your bike ;-)

    Hope I didn't scare anyone with my throttle sticking a wee bit! Bernie - hopefully you were able to work it into the description.

    He's mad kids, totally mad. That's how bad he wants to win, it flows right through his veins and into the throttle! ;-)
    Really, a few asked what happened to 'that guy'!
    It was all good, they had a blast, thanks for helping add to the great day they had.

    If you wanted, there's a link to some pics Tony posted above.
    In the end....
    The kids went nuts and had a blast. Ducati and BMW stickers, Pazzo wristbands, pictures, etc, they loved it. And the pizza of course.

    In no particular order.....

    A heartfelt thanks to;
    Scott and WMRC exec. for supporting the day and letting all the families and caregivers in for free. And the use of the track.

    Thanks to Ducati Richmond for generously feeding the kids and their families.

    Patrick Visser, amongst all his other generosities, taking the time to set up extra tents and tables for them to use at the track.

    Of course all the boys from Vancouver BMW Ducati for posters, autographs, kids crawling over their bikes, etc.

    Honda Center, for taking to time to get some really top notch goodies from Honda Canada.

    Pazzo Racing for another cool bag of swag.

    Essential Motorcycle Services for a box of goodies for the new fans.

    Thanks to Spero for the track info, and the racers who did some demo laps to thrill the kids instead of resting up like they wanted!

    I am probably forgetting someone, but thanks to everyone, from the kids and parents. Some of them are on their 3rd year, so you know they love it!!!

    Thanks
    Bernie
