Track walk June 29/30th?

Is there any interest in another of my Track Walk with the kids?
June 29th, with the 30th as a rain date.

I am waiting to hear back from Dan at BCCH, but we can do something big regardless.

Hey Bernie, I have been emailing Randene Neill from Global News about having a news crew come out to do a story on trackdays/racing.
She'll be out of town that weekend but has passed on the info to the assignment desk.
Maybe you should email her about the track walk as well.

That would be quite the score. Good going Spero. I think Ducati could send up the X2 MotoGP replica for 2-up rides. Maybe Patrick could get working on that?

On second thought, they might have to put a stock muffler on the exhaust. That bike is one sweet sounding but very, very loud monster.

Things to repeat;
Team Mid-Life will feed the kids from BCCH, and supply water for all the kids on the walk.
4-6 WMRC racers will do a fly by (and maybe one lucky person is 2 up!).
I'll have some Pazzo wristbands and pictures for all the kids.
We'll get some bikes for them to sit on and take pictures on.

It's bring the kids day!
The track walk is open to all, and it's FREE!
Everyone is wellcome, but kids will lead the group ;-)

It would be great if there was a big hello from the announcer for the kids, especially the ones from the hospital.
I will invite kids from the Starlight Foundation as well.

I'll be the first to volunteer for the fly by and my bike is always available for pictures. Anything else I can do?

 

Maybe if Gail can get Ken's tires changed quickly enough, Ken can do a fly-by after his nap as well.

What helps, and would help every WMRC event, is find the event, and join it (a button somewhere on the page).
Share it (also a button) so it goes to your front page.
Invite friends (also a button).

It will take 5-8 minutes, depending upon how many friends you have.
I sent it out to 500+ people, and so far maybe 30 people.
If everyone from the WMRC that's on facebook did it, you might fill the stands, impress the sponsors or potential sponsors, and all will be well and happy ;-)
