    1. CALL TO ORDER
President Scott Borthwick called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

    2. MINUTES from February 11, 2013
The Minutes from the General Meeting held February 11, 2013 was read and reviewed at the meeting.

Gio Acchione advised that West Coast Superbike School has 40 people signed up for their first race school in April and 10 people signed up for the second race school in June. The race school enrollment this year is higher than it has been in the past.

    3. FINANCIAL REPORT
Currently the WMRC has 44 paid registrations (it is estimated that there will be at least 60 registrations in total).

Financially the WMRC is doing better than normal with $18,923.44 in its operating budget with $1120 in the budget specifically for the A&B timing system (the system will cost between $7000 and $10,000).

    4. PROMOTIONS REPORT
    Upcoming events:

    • Daytona party: March 17th.
    • Hay bale party: April 6th arrive by 12:00 noon.
    • Moto GP party: April 7th at 11:00 a.m. This event is being coordinated with Spero Benias and will be held at Manchester Pub. Free admission.

Pazzo cup sponsorship is confirmed for this year with contingency paid out as follows: $750 for first; $500 for second; $250 for third. The scoring includes total overall points for the entire year so the more you race the more points you earn. The presentation will be held at the year-end banquet.

The Promotions Team is still looking for advertisers for the WMRC race day program.

The rider BIO will be in the race program and can be purchased for either $20 per weekend or $50 for a full year. The rider BIO sections will include a photograph of the racer (or bike), a brief BIO, and a sponsor / pit crew thank you. The cut-off date for submissions is 2 weeks before the Round.

    5. OLD BUSINESS
    i) New License Design
A couple of entries were received; however, they did not meet the format design requirements. The licenses are ready to go and will be distributed at the Daytona party. Rider information can be scanned and emailed, or faxed, to Jayson Lynch.

    6. NEW BUSINESS
    i) Forums – the forums were not designed for negative complaining and explicit language that was being submitted so new rules were created and have been posted on the forums. The members were encouraged to read the new rules, which were copied from the WMRRA forums that experienced the same type of behavior. There will be penalties assessed for infractions and after the third infraction, the offending member will be banned from the forums for one year. Occasionally threads will be edited for inappropriate language. The forums are to promote open, healthy discussions primarily about racing, or as information gathering. Everyone’s “full name” will be displayed. If a member enters a ‘fake name’ they will receive a three day ban. Members were encouraged to call Scott Borthwick directly if they have any complaints.
ii) Sound Log Book – Gail Lalonde will be monitoring motorcycles for sound offences and racers will be given warnings if they are within a specific parameter.
iii) Registration - registration and technical inspection will be open on Friday evenings for one hour only between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in an effort to speed up race day registration. The Executive have some details to finalize regarding the Friday evening registration.
    iv) Other Business –
    i. The WCC members qualifying practice has not been determined by the Executive.
ii. The WMRC is seeking a volunteer coordinator to organize all volunteers.
iii. Three tents (preferably white) are required for corners.
