Estimated balance after the outstanding payments is $79,590.95 Promotions: Jay Tait reported that the we are scouting venues for the year end banquet and hope to have tickets available for the July round. We are planning for a Saturday date in September and consideration is being made to location, including proximity to hotels and transit. New Business: We are looking into securing new tents for the corner marshal stations as the ones we have currently are in need of replacement. If you or your sponsor would like to donate an easy-up in good repair we would be happy to accept. Having these for the marshals is a priority, as they are standing all day in either the blazing sun or the pouring rain. We are also in need of adding to our flag collection and will be researching sources for that. Thank you to John Cathie, who has already recharged the extinguishers used at our last race round, and has also donated another cold fire extinguisher to the club. REMINDER, it is MANDATORY for all racers to have an extinguisher (ABC 535lb) displayed in their pit area, preferably one per rider. You must also have your race number displayed on the extinguisher. We will be checking the pits during the upcoming rounds and no exceptions will be made. It is also a requirement that you have your medical form in your leathers, and you will not pass tech without one. The form is available on line, and also at registration. We are also looking into the option of a med tech tag which would attach to your helmet. Another reminder for tech, is that all electronic devices that are being used on the track must also accompany your bike to tech. John Cathie extended his apologies to the 250 racers for the timing issues we had at the last round. We were able to use the SCCBC decoder the following day, which really save us. Many thanks to the SCCBC for allowing us access! Thank you to everyone that registered for the last rounds! I think everyone can agree that registration was quick and painless! One last reminder that if you are not preregistered for the next rounds, you will be assessed a late fee at registration. Again, preregistering does not place a charge on your credit card, you are not charged until you check in on race day. Jason Hanson motioned that the meeting be adjourned at 8:20, seconded by Allan Hay. Minutes submitted by Pam Black.
