It was a devastating weekend for an amateur sport motorcycle race club.
The Alberta Mini Roadracing Association is where young people can go to learn how to race on two wheels and helps underprivileged children.

It has been in operation for 11 years, but on Sunday learned that almost all of it's equipment was stolen from storage near the old Race City Speedway.

Donated leather suits worth about $900 each were stolen, along with about half the bikes stored there.

"They used trucks and chains, and just ripped everything open, rummaged through and just stole everything. They cleaned us out," says AMRA's Jay Fox.

"It took us 11 years to get to this point. It's traumatic. What do I tell these children? It's everything we've done for a decade to make this happen.

Fox isn't the only one that was robbed. A number of containers were broken into.

If you have any information about the stolen equipment contact Crime Stoppers.

Spread the word about this stuff and keep your eyes open. Let's get Jay and the kids their stuff back.
