I have noticed that CSBK, AMA (MA), WMRRA etc etc have an exception in 600 supersport equivalent classes that allow the 2013-present ZX6R. Would there be any opposition to the WMRC adopting this same exception?

How about an exception for all years of the 636?

the current rulebook does not allow any 636 in 600ss classes
as it is written right now.
    • 125 horsepower limited for expert class.
    • Up to 500cc multi cylinder, two stroke motorcycles.
    • Up to 600cc multi cylinder, four stroke motorcycles.
    • Up to 675cc three cylinder, four stroke motorcycles.
    • Up to 1000cc twin cylinder, four stroke motorcycles.
    • Supersport rules (see Chapter 8)
    • Maximum 88db.

you can present your case here for next years rulebook

Considering that I don't race in this class, my suggestion may seem inappropriate. I want to be clear that my reason for putting this out there for discussion is to see if members feel that this exception is acceptable. I am just looking for ways to ensure that the race club has classes that are inclusive and promote more entries.

Here is a dyno chart for reference:
